                       dimensions of red blood cells: 8µm x 8µm x 2µm

                       dimensions of hemoglobin: 6nm x 6nm x 6nm

Problem 1.2:

               size of a base pair (bp) 1/3x 10^-9 m/bp

               cross section of the DNA: 2.5nm x 2.5nm

               diameter of cell nuclei: 5µm

Problem 1.7: 

              write expressions for $\sum_iFx_i$ and  $\sum_iFy_i$
