Searching Web of Science

You should search Web of Science using the same search skills used in other databases, such as: brainstorming a variety of keywords, adding or replacing keywords, and narrowing your results using the refine results feature. Although Web of Science shares many of the same features as other databases, there are a few unique features that are important.

Let’s first set up a search with the keywords “chimpanzee” and “feeding.”

This search should give you around 800 results. The results page defaults to sorting by "relevance" order; you may want to change that drop-down to "Date: newest first" so that the most recently-published articles appear at the top.
