60-day Grace Period after EAD end date

If you are not eligible for, or choose not to pursue, the options to stay in the U.S. after completing your OPT, you can remain in the U.S. to travel (within the U.S.) and pack up your belongings.  You must then leave by the 60th day after the end date on your OPT EAD card. You may not engage in any work activity during this period. Once you leave the U.S., you cannot return using your current F-1 status.
