What is the General Waiver? This is the document that provides the Stamps School with legal protection to share student work with the world via Stamps publications, exhibitions, or other university forms of dissemination. The document is created in collaboration with U-M’s General Council.
What is the update? The new model assumes authorization upon enrollment or participation in Stamps-sponsored programs and activities. Learn more here.
What actions do I need to take? All Stamps students need to read the full policy and indicate that they’ve read and understand it. Here’s how to do that:
Click this link to get started: a page will open in a new tab/window.
On the new page, click "Sign In as Guest."
Then, enter your UM ID number, check the box to confirm that you have read and understand the above policy and procedures, and click Submit.
What if I have privacy concerns? Stamps students who have special circumstances, such as privacy, safety, or other concerns with the above, should still indicate that they’ve read the General Waiver policy. They should also review our Privacy Protection Resource Document for info on safeguarding their privacy at Stamps.
The Stamps School’s Communications & Marketing Team can help to answer any questions about image use and protections: email@example.com.
Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter!
