UV Printer Resources
The Roland VersaUV LEF-200 is a digital printer that can print onto objects that are difficult to print on with traditional inks. The printer uses inks which are applied to an object and then cured (dried) instantly by ultraviolet light. This allows you to print on a wide range of materials including metals, plastics, and glass. It can print full color images using CMYK inks and it can also print special effects using white and gloss inks.
You might want to use this printer if you want to print on a small object (less than 4” tall), want to add a glossy area to a digital print, or want to print on a transparent substrate.

To schedule an appointment for the UV printer, Email Nicholas Dowgwillo (dowgwill@umich.edu) or Catherine Coveyou (ccoveyou@umich.edu) with a completed file, and a brief description of your project. We will review your file to confirm everything fits the guidelines, and then find a convenient time to meet and print.
