Xerox VersaLink C8000 Guides
***NOTICE: The Xerox VersaLink C8000 laser printer is managed by Stamps staff through a PaperCut print client as part of a pilot program along with Taubman College. Only select courses have been invited to participate in the pilot at this time.

Install this driver on your own laptop to be able to send jobs directly from your laptop over MWireless to the PaperCut release station for printing on the Xerox C8000.
Printing Workflow with PaperCut
- Install the PaperCut client using one of the links above
- Log into the client with the U of M credentials
- **You must be enrolled in a class participating in this pilot program to log into the PaperCut client**
- Under the "Add Printers" tab select the "Xerox_Versalink_C8000" to add the print driver to your computer
- You will see the Xerox VersaLink C8000 appear as one of the available printers on your computer
- You may now send prints to the Xerox printer just as you would any other printer with full access to all of the print driver's functionality
Once you have sent a print (or prints)
- Log into the PaperCut Print Release Station located next to the Xerox C8000 in the Digital Work Commons
- Use your U of M credentials at the login screen
- You should see a list of all of the prints you have sent to the Xerox C8000 and their associated pricing
- Click to release any prints you would like to run on the Xerox C8000
- Your PaperCut account will be charged the shown print cost
- Remove your print(s) from the out feed tray on the Xerox C8000

Payment
Print credits will be added to the accounts for students enrolled in classes participating in the PaperCut pilot program. The total amount of funds added will be determined by your faculty. Additional funds can be added to your account through the Taubman Media Center pay window. Refunds
If you experience a failed print due to an error with the Xerox C8000 or the PaperCut system please reach out to Matthew Pritchard (mpritch@umich.edu) to discuss having the charged costs refunded to your PaperCut account. We can only return funds within the PaperCut system. We will not be able to offer any form of cash refund. Unused PaperCut credits are nonrefundable.
Paper
The Xerox C8000 is loaded with 8.5 x 11 US Letter paper in tray 1 and 11 x 17 Tabloid paper in tray 2. The cost of these papers are figured into the pricing listed above. Please reach out to Matthew Pritchard (mpritch@umich.edu) f you are interested in using your own paper stocks in either tray to ensure you have the correct print settings for a successful print.
Pantone Color Tables
Xerox provides calibrated Pantone Color Tables for the VersaLink C8000. The following files can be used to add the Xerox Pantone color table to your project files.
