Sculpture Studio

The Sculpture Studio (room 1258):

The Sculpture Studio is an instructional space where you can find hand tools for drilling, hammering, sawing, and carving, vacuum pots for mold making, and sanding tables for sanding wood, plastic, and foam. It is also connected to the plaster room, wood shop, metal shop, and foundry, making it the ideal space for 3D experimentation, large-scale fabrication, and multimedia projects.

All Stamps students who have attended an orientation can utilize the studio as a workspace. However, to use the tools in the Sculpture Studio, you need prior training from a faculty member or studio coordinator. To gain training on hand tools, you can take a fabrication-focused course) or ask the studio coordinator, a trained faculty member, or a sculpture studio monitor for assistance.
