The next section of the standard is Referenced Documents. Other titles for this may be Definitions, References, Normative References, or a related term. It includes other standards used in the creation of the standard in front of you. It is like a bibliography. This section may help you find other standards that could be important to your product or method.

This section is important, because it could point you to a more appropriate standard. 

This list of Standards looks useful for further research, but none look more appropriate for our work than what was promised in the Scope of this standard so let's continue reading this one.
