Knovel stands out from other databases in the types of documents it indexes. While you can search Knovel for books and conference proceedings, you can also find encyclopedia entries, engineering case studies, equations, and tables in your search results.

One important note: technical information like graphs, tables, and encyclopedia entries are indexed using an automated process, so your first search may not find the desired information. But do not be discouraged! Searching takes time and iteration, so try changing some key terms in your search string and give it another go.
