Searching With Boolean Operators

You’ve probably noticed that Web of Science opens to a single, Google-style search box:

 

 

This doesn’t mean that you can only search single words or phrases, though. You can use Boolean operators, stemming, and wildcards in Web of Science to build more complex searches. If you’re not familiar with these terms, this short video explains how they work:
