This course helps students understand and apply entrepreneurial general management practices to rapidly improve the performance of both small and large enterprises. Success in improving the performance trajectory of a company requires entrepreneurial leaders that understand what creates value for their customers and investors. Based on this understanding, entrepreneurial leaders build teams and lead change in their organizations to deliver this value. Successful turnaround leaders have the courage and ability to take and manage risks to drive these changes. Importantly, entrepreneurial leaders thrive on being held accountable for the performance of the enterprises they lead. This case-based course is taught by an experienced practitioner and builds on the MBA core by having students examine real cases of companies in need of rapid improvements in growth and/or returns by taking decisive action based on integrated, fact-based analysis.
