4. I have been enrolled full-time for one full academic year (two full terms) prior to my requested training start date.
What is one full academic year?
If a student has been enrolled for two full terms, i.e. Fall and Winter or Winter and Spring/Summer, this means that they have been enrolled for one full academic year. One half-term plus one full-term, i.e. Summer half-term plus Fall term, does not qualify as one full academic year.
What is full-time enrollment?
Full-time enrollment Links to an external site. is required of all continuing F-1 students but the credit enrollment requirements differ for graduate and undergraduate students.
Remote enrollment from outside the US prior to starting F-1 status
Time spent enrolled remotely from outside the US, prior to establishing F-1 status, does not count towards fulfilling the one full academic year requirement.
