Using Sources Together

For this assignment you will be using the research article you found in the Evaluating the Research Article assignment. Remember that full-text access to an article you choose will be checked by the librarians, so make sure this is a full-text article (no abstract-level access only).

Provide complete sentences and answers to each of the following questions:

1. How would you use Reference Sources in conjunction with your student work? Provide at least one detailed example of how you would use Reference Sources.
2. Identify 3 types of Reference Sources and the kind of information you would find in them.
3. Using the Reference Collection on-site at the Kirkland Campus of Library - Learning Commons OR using Credo Reference through the Library - Learning Commons website locate one reference source you might use with your existing research article. Provide a complete citation to this source and 2-3 sentences explaining why you chose this type of reference source (for example, why a dictionary rather than a statistical abstract?) over another.
4. What are at least two key ways you can access Reference Sources through the Library - Learning Commons Links to an external site.?
