- Submitting a text entry box or a file upload
For this assignment you will be using the research article you found in the Evaluating the Research Article assignment. Remember that full-text access to an article you choose will be checked by the librarians, so make sure this is a full-text article (no abstract-level access only).
Provide complete sentences and answers to each of the following questions:
- Define primary and secondary research. Provide two examples each within the field of scientific research.
- Looking at your research article and using the 6 characteristics identified in the Steenbock Library YouTube video describe how you know it is a primary research article. Your response should include all 6 characteristics and correlate to those sections in your research article.
- What are some strategies you might use to bring in secondary research? How would it function in your overall work?
Note: It is strongly suggested you draft your response in a Word document or other safe place so you do not lose your work. Once you are done copy and paste it here or upload it as a file to complete the assignment.
