Choosing 200 & 300-Level Studio Courses
Browsing the Sample Plans of Study will be helpful to get general course ideas. Given the limited number of spaces that may be available in some courses, students should be aware that we cannot guarantee that you will be get a seat in the courses you want in your desired timeline.
To make an academic plan of ARTDES 200 & 300-level studio courses, you must know the following information:

2. Course Frequency - what courses are offered when
The following resources can be used to find both the course pre-requisites and course frequency:

- Consider course options that have more flexible prerequisites include those courses that have a prereq of “Any 200-Level Studio” Links to an external site.
A maximum of one University of Michigan 200 or 300-level studio course offered outside the Stamps School (a non-ARTDES studio) can also count toward this requirement. Choosing a non-ARTDES studio course may result in not having the appropriate prerequisites for higher level courses. Non-ARTDES minor course options are:
