Quick Non-technical Accessibility Tests

Anyone can test content or an application for accessibility, regardless of whether they have no experience with web development, or extensive experience building or maintaining websites and web applications. There are many basic tests that can be conducted with little to no technical know-how, and we believe that these tests are a great way to get an initial impression of the accessibility of a product.

 

Basic accessibility tests are an essential way to review the accessibility of products or services that we purchase and create. If you run these tests on template pages, you’ll get a good sense for areas that may require additional testing. You may also consider requesting suppliers to demonstrate and attest to these capabilities, and document any deficiencies.
