Instructions

This is a 10 pt. Quiz, simply to check our reading perception of a few of the key points in the Module 1 Reading.  If when you read, you looked for key points, tried to find ideas that you might use, apply to your life/career, or just find interesting--then you extracted these to your  "research journal" (personal annotated bibliography)--and you should now have everything you need to answer  questions, write essays, and use for your future.  If not, continue to work on motivating yourself to think like this.

This quiz consists of one matching,  eight multiple choice, and two short essays.  Try not to be concerned with points, but simply use the score or outcome as an indicator of reading interest and concentration.  If concerned, about scores--talk to your instructor, arrangements can always be made for additional activities to supplement points/scores, and reduce a focus on outcomes.  For essays: any quotes or references you use from the article or video put (lastname, year) or (lastname, pg#) behind the reference.

Bibliography: AND for the rest of your life... anything you use from someone else... put the full bibliography at the bottom.  We'll worry about format later.  If you don't do this... it's a type of plagiarism (which we can never do).  This is also a form of respect... so as we give it... we get it!
