MCard

The MCard is your official University of Michigan identification card. You'll use it all over campus to identify yourself as a member of the university community. The UMID number is the cardholder's eight digit student number or employee number. The MCard has many uses from building access to use as an ATM/debit card! To obtain a University of Michigan student identification card (MCard) prior to orientation, students must visit an ID Issuing Station Links to an external site. (be sure to check ahead, locations / hours vary: http://www.finance.umich.edu/treasury/mcard/get-your-mcard/id-stations Links to an external site.). Please remember to bring your admission letter, a picture ID and your 8-digit UMID. This MUST happen before you arrive for orientation.
