Module Overview

Teaching Visual Communication Today was a panel discussion (Nov 2018) featuring comics artist Scott McCloud and U-M faculty members representing four different disciplines. An audio recording of the 60+ -minute program has been edited into seven episodes.

Inch's Comics and Chill is a weekly workshop series on making and understanding comics. Presented on this page is a series of articles covering the same topics as the weekly workshop.

Michelle's Meme Machine is a weekly discussion about memes and their role in modern internet culture and in online discourse in general. This Canvas page will host the slides from those discussions, to serve both as an archive and as a resource for any who would like to host similar discussions elsewhere.
