Your First Vinyl Cutting Session

Before cutting your first design using the Design Lab Vinyl Cutter, please do the following:

1. Complete this module and the quiz that concludes it.
2. Complete this form (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. Links to an external site. with the information pertaining to the project you want to work on. A staff member will reach out to you after completion of the form to schedule a time to meet and help you get started.
3. When you come in for your scheduled consultation, make sure you have the design you want to cut in some kind of cloud storage location that you can access from our machine here.
4. After your design is complete, email a captioned photograph or brief blog post (text and images) documenting it to shapirodesignlab@umich.edu.
