Formatting Best Practices
As discussed in a previous section, making accessibility a part of the UDL process makes content more available and accessible for everyone. Accessibility at first glance may seem daunting, however, you can get started and make a difference for individuals by ensuring the materials you produce conform to some simple best practices for formatting.
Your syllabus is an excellent place to start as learners will refer to this document frequently throughout the course. Additionally, in the next few pages, we have outlined some common techniques for making your documents accessible.
