03: Conceptualizing Health Inequalities
Overview
How can we better contextualize health inequalities? There are many ways - historical, sociological, etc. Today's readings do so by framing inequality through methodology, embodiment, law, and politics.
We'll also host Judith Smith Links to an external site., who is an Informationist at the Taubman Health Sciences Library and the subject librarian for the Dept. of Health Management and Policy. She'll present on the basics of research to help frame your projects early in the semester.
